The ARCH Workforce, Skills and Education Programme aims to widen access and opportunities for people living within the region to pursue a career with the NHS and promote South West Wales as the destination of choice to train, work, and live.
Under the Executive Leadership Deputy Head of School for Human and Health Sciences at Swansea University and the Directors of Workforce and Organisational Development in both Health Boards and the, the ARCH Workforce, Skills and Education Programme has agreed 3 projects and 1 potential project for focus in its next phase of delivery. These are as follows:
- An Apprenticeship Career Framework
- Schools Experience Programme (16-18yrs)
- A Workplace Wellbeing Programme
- Regional Network of Improvers
The programme benefits from a wide membership across Workforce and Organisational Development managers across the region, within multiple organisations.
